I found out Snape kills Dumbledore the hard way: my mother read the book before me and she threw it at my head in a fit of angsty rage over his death then bawled for an hour or two. We had to interrogate her to find out what was wrong and why she tried to take my head off with Harry Potter in hardback

Not the fun way to get spoiled. I'd have preferred a way that didn't involve knocking me stupid with literature at least. Or not at all.
