Of the many critters and creatures that live in the spaces inbetween with the neverweres and the absolutelynots is one Mr.Smith.

Mr.Smith is not his name, which isn't that important, they just call him that because they don't remember what his name is.
Which is also not important, at least not as important the fact that he can't remember his name either.
Which again, is not nearly as important as his and others inability to remember if he is in fact a he.

Jamie Oliver's name is however not forgotten, it is for lack of a nicer phrase simply never remembered.

Bummer.

He is however, regardless of what he says, absolutely not a cat.
He is definitively, every bit a liar.

This is so cute!
And evil at the same time, like cranberries.
Minus the cute part.
>:) Oh yeah.

Your brilliance is showing... I'm really loving that description. And also Mr. Smith's drippy blood and striped pants.

I adore this picture - it's so strange and elegant and everything about it seems to make me tingle.

I love your comment too... random. XD Well, probably random to me and making perfect sense to you, but all the same.

I fav'd this before I even made it full size; having read the description was enough. :)

The creature is odd and terrifying and wonderful at the same time, made somehow softer and less threatening by the little cat-kid reaching up for it. The child, Jamie, is adorable but kinda sad at the same time, to me, at least. I love how you wrote the description too!

As always, I love the details in this picture. The hands and feet that do not fit at all to the tigers tail and ears, makes it look like a kid in an unfinished Halloween costume, or that the raincoat has holes for the ears, that's really cute.
Or the fact, that scarry monster guy and the cat wear the same pj pants.
Your artists notes are wonderful, dark and stange, perfect mix.

You know I have a problem when my first thought was "That looks like Sixth's umbrella".

The explanation almost sounds like something from Neil Gaiman. The art, itself, is lovely. :3
