The Hobbit BotFA - Where's My Precious?

I like the part where he whips out the acorn from his pocket to show Thorin, knowing that his other options were the Arkenstone and the One Ring. 
Can you imagine if Thorin opted to strip search everyone and that's what he finds in Bilbo's pockets? I mean sure the Arkenstone but also a gold ring and an acorn? That's one lock of Thorin's beard hair away from creepy stalker scrapbook. 

Imagine Bilbo trying to explain the ring, "No no no it's a magic ring, it makes you invisible."

Good lord, dig a deeper hole Bilbo.

I dislike though that Thorin never at the very least patted down Nori. Peter Jackson put a lot of his StickyFingers!Nori headcannon into the movies for nothing to come of it when Thorin actually gives a shit.
