The Master's Maxil machination

Did you know there's a Doctor Who episode where Colin Baker shoots Peter Davison? Yeah yeah yeah know it sounds like I'm making it up?
Frankly so does every episode.
Oh my god do you remember that time the Doctor was chased by Jem and the Holograms? Or when he cosplayed a Dalek? Or how bout that time he and his short-skirted-no-underwear-wearing companion hooked up with Rainbow Bright?

I'll narrate.

Doctor: Come along Nyssa LOL we're just on Gallifrey, my people have nothing but love for me.
Nysaa: Oh noes I guard with a gun. I'll punch him.

I know what you're thinking, the Master wasn't in Arch of Infinity, FifthDoctorcoveredinsnotfaced!Omega was in that.

And you're right, I just think the Master was manipulating things from behind the scenes. That way it really sets things up nicely for when in the Sixth Doctor season/serial Trail of a Time Lord, Maxil inexplicably returns to make another attempt on the Doctor's life.
